YESSIREE that's a bowl of butter--real butter--right there on the table. Because it's Thanksgiving, my friends, and that means ANYTHING GOES. Rolls, dressing, gravy, pie, as many plate refills as you want. NO JUDGEMENT HERE. And the next day, pile it all on white bread with mayo and enjoy. I AM HERE FOR IT, I will just tell you. I mean--what's better than a delicious meal, autumn colors, Christmas approaching, and a table filled with precious family and the very most dearest dear friends? YES, YES, YES, I say. BRING IT. Tim and I will be back in our beloved mountains (praise hands) and our celebration will be intimate, special, friend-filled, (snow-filled?) and our souls will be overfilled with blessings too numerous to count. How grateful I am.

I wish you every wondrous joy of this beautiful, beautiful season!

BINGE LOVE
The Kominsky Method, Netflix. We devoured Season 2, and this show just gets better and better. Alan Arkin is a gem, and the scene on the sofa with his grandson (played by a grown-up Haley Joel Osment) in the season finale, A Thetan Arrives, is wonderful. Ditto for cameos by Kathleen Turner and Allison Janney. So good.
PODCAST LOVE
Last week I mentioned Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, of which I had listened to exactly ONE EPISODE and pronounced it good. This week I'm going one better: recommending a podcast about the podcast that I have not listened to yet. Still I am confident! Jen Hatmaker (For the Love) talks with Monica Padman, Armchair Expert's co-creator and co-host, about "finding a north star and following it even if it doesn't take you where you want to go." Seems she made the journey from theater major to babysitter-trying-to-land-an-acting-gig to Kristin Bell to Creative Partner and 'powerhouse' behind several projects including Armchair, which--by the way--was the most downloaded new podcast of 2018.
