THERE IS NOTHING, nothing, I believe, quite like beautiful Acadia, the national park just south of Bar Harbor, Maine, its magnificence and beauty so encompassing it takes you in and holds you as you melt right into it. At least it feels that way to me, there being a connection of such grace and grandeur that being there, I become a part of its very essence. What a glorious gift this is; what a powerful reminder that all things are connected.

If you have already experienced this for yourself, I hope you will be able to come back soon. If you have never been to Acadia, my wish for you is that you get here with the time and energy to explore it. Acadia will anchor your feet. It will restore your soul. It will remind you of all that is good and pure and beautiful in this world. XXOO

We've been playing some Mexican Train Dominoes during our fun Maine vacation and if you're not familiar, this is one game worth checking out. Just enough strategy to be fun without it feeling like work. Or like unfriendly competition.

“All of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean.”
-- John F. Kennedy, 1962
