Hey there, friend,

Y'ALL. A reminder, JUST BECAUSE THIS IS SO DREAMY.

This Thursday—August 6th at 6pm—I'll be at the Columbia Museum of Art! And just look at this amazing lineup:
I'm so, so honored to be a guest of the museum, and I'm so grateful to my buddies Ryon Edwards, Michael Amos Cody and Colin Hyden or being a part of the show! Michael and Colin are traveling from Johnson City, Tennessee, and along with other mountain music, they'll be performing the ballad WAR SONG written by character Ben Grubb in the novel. Michael put my lyrics to music, and Colin is an incredible old-time banjo picker—if you're like me, you'll be mesmerized. They debuted the song at a book event I had last summer in Johnson City, and I promise you, it's so special!

Thanks to the museum's generous Free First Thursday program, admission to the museum and to our That Which Binds Us program is free and reservations are not required. Thanks, also, to All Good Books who will be at the museum with books for sale.

How I'd love to see you there!

PS: If you have friends or family in the Columbia area, I'd be so grateful if you took a moment to forward this email to them. And THANK YOU! Here's a photo of Colin, Michael and me from that event at Johnson's Literary Depot. WOOT!
