Hello, it's me, dropping into your inbox with a few quick book updates as Launch Day for my debut novel, That Which Binds Us, quickly approaches! It's quite the understatement to say things around here are in full swing!!!

We're giving away 10 Advanced Reader copies of That Which Binds Us on Goodreads, and tomorrow's the last day to enter! While you're there, if it's of interest, you can click on my name and follow my "official author" page on Goodreads. That way Goodreads will serve to you any updates on the novel (including upcoming giveaways) and you can also see what I'm currently reading and loving!

To my delight (and surprise, quite frankly) I'm having a real book tour! Dates are confirmed for appearances in Pendleton, SC; Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Davidson, NC. Details are in the works (fingers crossed!) for Pawley's Island, SC; Marietta, GA; Henrico, VA. Seven or eight other book stores have inquired and we're trying to work out schedules. You can find all those details, which I'll update as they are confirmed, on my website! You'll also find information there for my two Launch Parties—one in Columbia, SC on June 10 and the other in Wise, VA on June 19. Both are free and I'd love to see you if you're in the area! I do ask that you reserve a free "ticket" so we'll know how many people to plan for—those links are also on the Events page.

If you'd like a signed copy of That Which Binds Us and are not sure I'll be in your area or that you'll be able to get to a signing event, here are two great options!

- I'd be happy to sign a pretty "book plate" I will then mail to you and you can paste it inside your book! While in the photo below the book plate has not been signed, nor did I adhere it to the book (thus the curving), this should give you a good idea about how that works. I can also personalize with your name or any name you prefer! Just email me at cathy@cathyriggauthor with your wishes and your mailing address.

- Another option is to order from my hometown Independent Bookstore, All Good Books here in Columbia, SC, and request a signed copy. If you order online, you'll do this in the "instructions/comments" section of your order. If you'd like a book personalized with a specific message or dedicated to a specific person (or yourself!) make note of that and I'll be delighted to do so. All Good Books will then let me know to scoot by and sign before they ship to you! The button below takes you to the hardback order; note there is also a paperback option, so feel free to choose that, if you prefer!

Oh! One other thing. For a reason I cannot explain, Bookshop began shipping to folks who had pre-ordered a couple of weeks ago, which is not standard practice as the book does not "release" until publication day, which is Tuesday, June 10. If you were one of the lucky ones, YAY! (A special thanks to all of you who have therefore already read That Which Binds Us and who have reached out to me with such LOVING comments and thoughtful insights. You have given this debut author the incredible gift of confidence as I step into the unknown world of book tour, and I could not be more grateful.)
