a thousand prayers

Sep 25, 2012 | god & grace | 1 comment

I love the friend who sent me this photo. I love that she is so open to grace, so ready to receive God’s blessings, so willing to look for them in the world around her. She has prayed a thousand prayers as she’s bent to collect these feathers, I know, prayers of gratitude and longing. From my own heart I join her, believing that prayer magnified is prayer strengthened. I offer another this morning and invite you to join me—pray for my friend; for someone you love; for the questions in your own life. Voices magnified.

With thanks.
With hope.
With faith.
Amen.

Amen.

This collector of feathers is warm of heart and soul, a blessing to all who know her. Prayers for her and all who have much to give and who ask little in return but a hug.

Hi. I’m Cathy.

This is a blog about writing, creative living, and grace in the everyday. It’s my hope this little spot on the internet will be for you a place of quiet and reflection, a source for inspiration, and a reminder there’s beauty all around—we simply need to keep our hearts open to see it. Thank you for being here with me.
