It has rained. And rained. And rained. (If you live in the heart of South Carolina, you know how unbelievable this is.) Today was particularly crazy with a deluge that caused my weather-aware husband to call me and proclaim this storm is so serious Little Bit and I are ready to go to downstairs to safety.

Things had calmed a bit by the time I got home from work, but still it was a mess. And so I did what any self respecting fun addict would do.

I put on my rain boots and headed out the door.

I love them.

No wonder there’s wine. This is their gorgeous pool, filled to the brim with icky muddy runoff.

Might as well stomp around a bit while Tim repairs the pump.
