MY HEART’S BEEN pulling toward another 30 Days of Joy, a holiday series during which I set the intention to look for, and to acknowledge, moments big and small that center me, that fill me, that remind me life is a gift meant to be enjoyed and savored. It’s a practice I started way back in 2011, in the early days of this blog, and it’s one I return to every two or three years as the need emerges, as the feeling strikes.
I do hope you’ll join me! I’ll be sharing here on The Daily Grace blog, and I invite you to celebrate alongside me with whatever intention your heart may lead you to. Make a list; text a friend; snap a photo; note in your journal—everything counts!—because the point is simply to notice and then to acknowledge.

And oh! As we walk through these last weeks of 2025 together, do let me say a not-small joy for me is having you here as both my friend and as a part of the The Daily Grace community. Whether you are new to the blog or someone who has been along for the ride lo these many years, I’m deeply grateful for your time and attention, your love and encouragement, your sweet and tender spirit that, like mine, longs to see the good in our troubled world.
The good is there, my friend. The good is always there.
Let’s hold on to each other. Let’s love big.
And this holy holiday season, let’s also love small as we notice, acknowledge, rejoice, and enjoy.

Making memories and sharing the love. Thank you for the reminder to notice and to say so……yesterday I saw a feather floating quietly to the ground. I embraced the grace…..the moment of noticing recharged me and changed my day. The simplicity did not escape me!

My friend Cindy at church has recurrence breast cancer and has been on a new medication for about sixty days. She had scans yesterday. Results today show it is working. It is working!!!!
